Do you like Musical Theatre Concerts? Concerts where the protagonist reveals all their terrible life choices wrapped into 3 minute songs accompanied by a string quartet? If so, you are going to love ADHD The Musical in Concert!

The makers of ADHD The Musical will be performing a special concert including original tunes Thinking About Bees and I Could get Hit By a Bus. Join Dora Colquhoun and West End Superstar and Liverpool Legend Gillian Hardie (Mamma Mia, Kinky Boots) in sharing the highs and lows of being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, as Dora poses the question 'What the funk is normal anyway?’

The event is BSL interpreted. Possibility to win a Breakfast in a Can. What's not to love? There will be a Q&A session at the end of the concert.

A lively opening set will be provided by Congolese drummer, percussionist, composer and Hope postgraduate student Felix Ngindu who will be playing rumba music from the Democratic Republic of Congo and songs from his new album which will be released this summer. Felix will be performing with his trio, which includes Dior Sakuba on rhythm/ lead guitar and Kevin Mazebo on Bass. Dancer Melissa Capri will also join the group to add to the energy.

Felix Ngindu, from Liverpool, is a professional musician born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He is an experienced drummer and percussionist who can play a wide variety of styles, including African and other world rhythms, as well as rock and jazz. He has toured the world as a performer, including as a regular drummer in the Kanda Bongo Man Band. He is a natural, charismatic performer with a colourful fashion style and an unforgettable stage presence.

In addition to performing, Felix is a popular peripatetic music teacher, teaching both children and adults and delivering workshops in a wide range of settings including several schools in Merseyside. He holds an honours degree in popular music and music production and his main area of expertise includes musical performance, voice, songwriting and recording.
