Cartwright Cabaret

Cartwright Cabaret

Tuesday, 14 November 2017 Time: 7.30pm

Theatregoers are in for a treat with Jim Cartwright’s latest production. Cartwright Cabaret is an amalgamation of the playwright’s work, featuring highlights from many of his plays, such as Road, Two, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, and Raz.

The production will be staged by the Cartwright Drama Studio, which offers weekly acting classes, run by Jim Cartwright in Chorley. His motivation for setting up The Cartwright Drama Studio came from the many recent articles and statements released from leading members of the theatrical world, concerning the lack of opportunity for many to gain entrance to the profession or even training. Cartwright Cabaret will showcase the work of the studio and its actors in a unique way, using Jim’s writing and 17 actors.
