During the period from 20th March till 27th May 2023, there will be roadworks taking place in Shaw Street. The effect of these will be minimal. However, traffic may be slower and there will be no on-street parking from William Henry Street to College Street North. You may wish to factor potential delays into your travel arrangements to attend this event.

Due to inclement weather this free admission performance will take place in The Great Hall, Cornerstone Building, Liverpool Hope University, Creative Campus, 17 Shaw Street, Liverpool L6 1HP. The performance lasts approximately 25 mins.

RELEASE is an interactive digital art installation and dance performance that explores stories of female migration and the human capacity to offer a place of refuge in times of crisis.

As a lone woman appears on a surreal pedestrian refuge island we begin to hear just why she braved the elements to leave her home and settle here in a new place of refuge. 

Created by Whispered Tales and choreographed by Lisa Simpson, RELEASE promises to be a captivating emotive dance performance not to be missed.
